Years ago, Zaxos ruled over one of the many kingdoms of Volcana Eurosa. The Lavot did not seek out becoming the leader of a nation, but instead found himself in charge by decisively winning a disagreement with the former king with one swing of his sword. Zaxos was quite capable as a leader of armies, but proved inept at palace politics. It wasn’t long before many of his lieutenants and advisors were conspiring against him and he was deposed. Zaxos fled across the ocean to join the Seekers, finding their recruiting posters to be quite persuasive given how many assassins were still on his trail. He joined an expedition to the Wilds and soon was on the trail of a large boneback boar with three other Seekers. The boar found them first. It charged through their ranks, killing two of the Seekers instantly. The third Seeker fell shortly after, leaving Zaxos alone to deal with the boar. The Lavot beat the monster to death with his flail, exacting revenge for his fallen comrades.
Zaxos is a melee tank, able to redirect nearby creatures to attack him instead of his fellow Seekers. Zaxos should always be in the frontline, adjacent or near as many creatures as possible. His Teamwork skill allows him to make a free attack against adjacent enemies that are attacked by another Seeker. Combined with his other default skill, Maim, Zaxos can ensure that even if he has taunted his enemies, they will have difficulty reaching his comrades.
