Lurking in the darkest recesses of the Divide or along the northern coast of the Wilds, streamcallers hunt with cruel efficiency, waiting for the perfect moment to lunge at their prey and drag them into the depths below. A horrifying fusion of humanoid and tentacles, streamcallers are aquatic nightmares that keep all but the bravest or foolish of Seekers awake in the night. Unlike river guardians, streamcallers are not actually servants of Keyet, but there is little doubt they perform the work of the god of waterways and death. Streamcallers are always followed closely by their kindred spirits, the waterbound, as they exact a heavy toll upon any who would dare traverse their sanctuaries. The creatures have proven less effective while fighting in the Silvestrem compared to their natural habitat, but they are still incredibly dangerous, especially if they manage to grapple their foes. The coarse sands of the arenas may not provide the Streamcaller a way to drown its prey, but it can still squeeze the life out of man or beast with minimal effort.
The Streamcaller is a melee attacker/summoner with average health and speed and high damage. The Entangle skill allows the Streamcaller to not only immobilize on defense, but retaliate as well. Combined with the creature’s 5 base damage, the Streamcaller is an incredible threat to adjacent enemies. Call of the Deep summons a Waterbound when a Special is rolled, so pair the Streamcaller with Assents who can increase the number of dice their creatures roll.
